Day 100

Today we read a little "Chirp" and played in the mud. What a wonderful, beautiful, relaxing day!

This morning I opened my blind to find this bunny just plopped in the neighbours grass. He was just too cute and had to snap his picture.

Today Ronyn and Scarlett wanted to play pool. They have played this many times before. Imagine if you will the blue is the water and the little couch is the water slide. Their underwear is their bathing suit....So Imaginative...

Day 97

Today we went to Ronyns portfolio night at his school. We had to sit with him at his tiny table and fill out a question sheet with work for him to do. We also got to peek at his journal and see all the work he has completed so far. We even got to take some home with us. I am so proud of him for doing well in school.

Day 96

After bath tonight Scarlett insisted she paint. So I let her. She is a very clean painter (well most of the time) so I had no hesitation. It kept her busy and I got to watch the rest of my TV show!

Day 95

Today I hosted an Aloette party. My friend sells the stuff so I hosted to help her out. I am not big on make up and skin care, but they do have some nice smelling stuff that is all natural. Also this company believes in helping the environment which I love. And besides I think it is about time I start to pamper myself....I cant wait to try my new spa indulgence package.

Day 94

What a windy day to go fishing! We went to the Tavistock Rod and Gun Clubs fishing derby today. My Step-Dad is a member and invited us out. We would have had a wonderful time if it wasn't so windy. Scarlett never lasted long as she hates the wind and ended up in the van with Travis. Papa Brown and Nana Brown ended up in there too. Ronyn and I stayed out a little longer to see the only fish caught by Papa Varey. I cant wait to take them again on a less windy day.

Day 93

Scarlett loves to go down to our local park to feed the animals. I don't like the fact these animals are caged up, but I am glad that they seem to be well taken care of and have a safe place to live. When we get there she only wants to feed the bunnies. I feel bad for the other animals as the bunnies get all her attention. It is so cute to hear her talk to them telling them to eat the food and be good little bunnies. She even lets them know if they have missed a piece she put in when they weren't looking.

Day 92

Tonight we went to Ronyns school for Crazy Science Night. There was a reptile room where there was some interesting animals/creatures. While Ronyn and I waited outside (we both do not care for creatures), Scarlett and Travis headed inside to see what they had. When they came out Travis informed me that Scarlett touched the tarantula! I could not believe it! She is such a brave little thing. We also got see Freddy Fusion. This guy was amazing! But the whole night revolved around getting a hot dog. They both wanted a hot dog so bad....we missed the BBQ. We felt awful! So after the show, it is 8:00p.m., we headed to the store to get some hot dogs for bed time snack! So here is a picture of Ronyn eating his hot dog he so desperately wanted at 8:45 at night!

Today Scarlett drew her first real picture! It is a picture of the baby she is holding in her arms. I saw her do this and was amazed. I am so proud of her!

Ronyn is a gadget freak! Travis found his old palm pilot and thought Ronyn might get a kick out of it so he gave it to him. He has not put this down. He thinks this device is the best thing ever. I got him to go on word to type his name and I was amazed by all the commands he taught himself. He is so inquisitive with technology and very good at understanding it for being so young.

This is not the prettiest picture and trust me it is not the prettiest subject....Dirty Dishes! The weather has been so nice lately all I want to do is be outside. I want to enjoy the sunshine, the warm air, my children....but when I come in at the end of the day this is what I see...Dirty Dishes. I wish they would just clean them selves!

What a lovely day to play in the sandbox! Scarlett made me cupcakes, soup and a birthday cake. She even sang me "Happy Birthday", it is not my birthday. It was a little warm for her to be wearing this hat and coat, but she insisted she wear it as she thought it was windy. I thinks she is having some trouble adjusting from Winter to Spring.

Scarlett went for her first hair cut today! I think it was about time that we try and tame that wild hair.

Lynn and I took the kids to the beach today. It was rainy when we left but once we arrived the rain stopped and the sun came out. It worked out perfectly. We went to find cracked rocks and actually found quite a few of them. We also found some beach glass (I love beach glass). Then we played at the park. What a great day....

Today we went to my moms for a BBQ. We also had an Easter egg hunt in the neighbours yard. I found the word Love written in stone on his fence and snapped a picture. I love creative things like this. Scarlett also got some hot pink piggy's!

To end such a beautiful and busy day we decided to dye our Easter eggs. I bought a dye kit, but it was one wear you had to wear a glove and rub dye on the egg (weird). I should have read the box before buying it as this just would not work for a 4 and 2 year old. So I pulled out the food coloring and it seemed to work just fine. They are not the prettiest eggs but hey you are just going to eat them!
