We Played Them All...

Scarlett got out all her favourite board games today for us to play on our girly day. She will only play by the rules for so long until her rules start to take over and then the pieces turn into little me and yous that end up running around eating all the candy, climbing up ladders, sliding down slides and eating all the cherries and apples!

Smile..

I feel like I have to teach Scarlett how to smile again :) She is giving me some weird one eyed, I'm to cool for you ones lately...

Mommys Little Helper

Scarlett was my little helper today. It was our "girlie" day (girlie days are when Ronyn is at school and it is just us girls) and we did everything together! She helped with the morning tidy, making cookies, washing dishes and even made her dad a tea when he was done snow blowing the driveway. I returned the favour by playing barbies, reading stories and dancing! She was attached to me at the hip today and I loved it! Oh did I mention she even helped me with my workout!

Ouch

These things are why my tongue hurts! But I love'em and cant stop eating them. Sour Keys are definitely something that when they are in the house I can not leave them alone! I am really in trouble as my sister got me this BIG bucket of them for Christmas. I gave one to the kids today and Scarlett made the cutest little sour face! I wanted to take pictures of their reactions but both of them declined. Ronyn didn't even flinch! You can tell he is like his mama!

Look What I Can Do!

This is the face and pose I am getting lately from Scarlett when I want to take pictures of her. It is followed shortly after with an "OK now no more pictures!"

Scarlett is so proud that she can close one eye. All day I hear "Mommy look what I can do!" and I mean I hear it allllll day......

Cherry Pie

Who doesn't like a big piece of cherry pie with whipped cream?.......Not me! I love cake. Ronyn on the other hand LOVES pie. We went to my mother in laws for dinner tonight and I think he ate 3 pieces of pie with TONS of whipped cream. We told him he better slow down as we didn't want him to end with a belly ache. It is so funny to watch him eat his pie as he first licks the cream off with his tongue then uses his fork for the cherries!

Outside

I never gave them a choice today, I said we are going outside and I began to get myself ready and they followed. Just as we were heading out the door the phone rang so I thought I would take it outside with me and have a little chat while the kids played in the snow. While I was talking on the phone, shoveling the deck off and putting on and tucking in mittens I ended up dropping the phone in the snow! It began to sound a little weird so I ended my conversation and put the phone back in the house. I am such a multi-tasker, but sometimes not so good at it. I also wanted to take my camera outside for the first time in the cold weather. I didn't think it was a good idea after what I did to the phone, but I did it anyways. I just stood outside the front door and snapped a few pics of them before we came inside. A lot of them came out really goofy as I was trying to do it fast. But I did get one good one of them!
