Day 38

Today my mom and sister Ashley came out for a visit and we took the kids sleding at our local park. I think we played more in the snow than actually sleding. Ronyn really wanted to have a snow ball fight so Ashley thought it would be funny to pick up the big boulder and pretend to throw it at Ronyn. I couldnt get a good picture of Scarlett today, but my mom did. She took the picture of Scarlett that I posted.

Ronyn and Scarlett love to bake. Today we made homemade banana muffins with cream cheese icing. Sooo Yummy!

In the winter Travis becomes a "Gamer". He built this wheel stand for his XBox. Eventually it will have a real race car seat. He just needs to find one! I am so proud of him. He so handy and I swear he can fix/make anything! Scarlett was the little model for the picture.

What a beautiful day it was today! Ronyn and I decided to head outside and build a snowman, who he named Frosty. The last two pictures I was playing around with my camera. The one is of my Christmas urn. Yes, I still have a Christmas urn, It is just to pretty to get rid of yet!

Today was a LONG day! I think we are all sick of being sick and need summer to come quick. We investigated rocks, beach glass, pine cones, candles and coins in water today. Ronyn and Scarlett enjoyed doing this and it kept them busy for a few minutes...

Day 27

This is my nephew Maven. He recently came for a visit and I just wanted to share how much I love him. I love how he cries when he has not seen me in a while. I love how he cries when he finally sees me. I love how he cries that he doesnt want to go home and wants to stay here forever. I love how he smiles. This little boy is a big part of my life. He is more like a brother to Ronyn and Scarlett than a cousin. I am very proud to be his aunt.

Happy Family Day

Travis surprised me this morning and decided to work from home today! It was really nice to have him home as Scarlett and I are still sick. We did our own thing this morning and ended the day with one of Ronyn's favourite activities Lego!

We had a great weekend with family. So happy to see Maven, Sara and Dan, My mom and Step Dad and of course Papa Wayne. Scarlett is not feeling well still and told her Daddy this morning that he had to carry her around all day...They spent most of the morning cuddling on the couch....

Day Twenty Two

My kids are sick! I hate it when they are sick. Ronyn has a double ear infection and Scarlett has just started with a runny nose! I hope it goes fast and they get better soon! This was our little let up this morning so mommy didnt have to keep getting up and down. ~Get Better Soon My Babies~

Day Twenty One

Scarlett has been blessed with my thin, straggly hair. Some days (like today) it is so crazy. She will not let me do anything to it. The only thing she likes is when I straighten it for her with my hair straightener. There is no way I am doing that for her everyday! She has never had her hair cut, well except for the day she chopped off some for herself. Maybe it is about time to make the appointment.

Day Twenty

Ronyn stayed home from school today. He is down and out with a cold. We had a pretty relaxing day enjoying tv shows and eating snacks.

Day Nineteen

This is Magnus. I watch him every Monday for my best friend. I love this kid to pieces. He is always a hoot when he is here! Such a cutie!

Boy I am cutting it close tonight! We spent the day at Nana and Papa Browns. Lynn had some beautiful tulips that I just had to snap a picture and share. They remind me of Spring! Doodleboards are the best toy ever! I have found so many creative little drawings on this toy. Today I found Scarletts foot inside Daddys foot! It is just too cute!

Friday night is usually movie night in our house hold. We pull out the air popper and make a big bowl of popcorn. Yummy...Scarlett thinks it is magic! Then we get all cozy and sunggle into our make shift bed in our movie room. What a wonderful Friday night!

Day Fifteen

I bundled up the kids and we headed outside to enjoy a sunny winter morning. We went for sled rides, re-built our fort and made snow angels. If we didnt have to each lunch I think we could have stayed outside all day! As much as I loved the weather today, Summer just cant get her fast enough for me!

Auntie Ashley came out for a visit tonight! Ronyn and Scarlett were exctied to see her as she just came back from her trip to Jamaica. They didn't get to play long as they were tired. Ronyn played with her "Pink Thing" (Ashleys IPhone) and Scarlett decided that Ashleys lap was the perfect place to fall asleep. They just adore her!
