Day 69
In the waiting room at Scarletts surgeon's office there is a big window with lots of construction going on down below. Ronyn was in awwww. It was so cute to watch him staring through the window with amazement. Batman also came to visit us today! This costume was made by Nana. She has been on sewing spree lately. Ronyn loves his new costume.

Day 68
I have finally caught up with my blog! I will not let it get away from me again...
If you have come to my house you have seen this picture frame. You probably walk by it and think "When is she ever going to get this done?" This has been hanging empty for almost 4 YEARS! I am giving myself 30 days to fill it...
Day 67
Sunday we went to Lynn and Jim's for some yummy chili. I never took my camera out so I don't have a picture for that day. I don't know why I didn't snap one, I usually always do. Here is one of Scarlett and Papa Jim on the day we made our tissue vases. I love pictures of my kids with there grandparents. There is just something special about them...
Day 66
Day 65
I love homemade things. Especially when they are made by the people you love and feel blessed to have in your life.
Lynn made us this blanket. It is so soft and comforting. We all love it and we all fight over who gets to use it. It is actually wrapped around me right now as I try and catch up with my blog.

Day 53
This is not a good quality picture, but it looks ok small. This is the only good one I got of all three of them playing in some mud in the backyard. I think my camera settings are off. I really want to get a higher end camera but I have to learn my current camera before I will venture to something else.

Day 49,50
Scarlett had surgery to remove a preauricular pit so I couldn't post for the past 2 days. We took the NAP program offered at Victoria Hospital and it really helped prepare us for this day! Scarlett was so brave and had no tears! Well except when they put the hospital ID bracelet on. This was the only thing we did not practice. The NAP program gave me the opportunity to stay with her until she was asleep. I asked her what song she would like me to sing to her as she went to sleep and she chose "Down By The Bay". It was really sweet as the nurse, the child reach worker, myself and the Anesthesiologist sang her to sleep! I put on my brave face until she was asleep, then I broke down. It was so hard to leave her in that room, but as I left the surgeon assured me that he would take good care of her and he did. We did not watch the clock or the door so the hour and half we waited for news seemed to go by fast. Since the surgery went so well and no drain was needed we didn't have to stay the night. Scarlett is now doing great! I was going to take pictures and document our day but Scarlett was not in the picture mood and I couldn't keep my arms empty long enough to pull out my camera. I did snap a picture on the car ride home! It was such a beautiful day!
