Since is was a PA day today for the kids we decided to hang out with Nana Brown and go apple picking. We went to Blake's Apple Orchard. There is no fancy, fun stuff for kids, just the enjoyment of picking apples. We had a great time and can't wait to go back. When we got home I cooked some diced apples, brown sugar, butter and cinnamon in a pan, whipped up a golden cake mix and baked them in some mason jars! It was so yummy! Baking in mason jars is my new obsession right now. I don't know why, but I think it is so neat and have so many ideas that I want to try!
